The 2022 work this projection rests on
Industrial Info reported a 45-day turnaround of the Heavy Oil Cracker, HF alkylation unit and gasoline desulfurizer planned from January 14, 2022, and a 21-day turnaround of the Unicracker, naphtha HDS and Platformer CCR from April 22, 2022.
Completion of either event was not independently confirmed by the sources reviewed.

On its October 22, 2026 call Valero said it does not defer maintenance and will stay on its existing turnaround schedule, and cited consultant estimates of a heavier industry turnaround season in 2027. No Valero facility or quarter was named.
